style life home desk

I like to keep my desk as clear as possible when working on projects. Yes, I can say I am a organise freak but I can’t work any other way. But I still love to have special objects around and inspiring images on my moodboard. I thought I would share with you my desk along with DIY paper flowers that the girls and I created over the Easter holidays. They sit proudly on my desk, we made one each and choose our favorite colour. You could also create these paper flowers as a gift this Mother’s Day.

Childrens spaces

Styling children’s rooms can be difficult to tackle, with the thought of having the room always neat and tidy sometimes a ‘pie in the sky’. If you are like me and are happy to have the over all style that still looks great and practical | some mess is ok |  I have created a moodboard that will give you ideas plus a place to purchase some super cute items to start. These moodboard’s are all about white, black, neutral with a little pinch of colour, I feel this style can used in the baby into the tweens rooms. Remember storage is the key! My biggest styling tip for children’s rooms is ‘clear tubs’, so you can store toys under the bed or in the wardrobe (hidden, easy to clean away and keeps the remaining room looking styled)..

camplike style home

Keeping it simple is what the owners of this New Zealand beach house wanted to
achieve and I think they have done so. The site is hiding behind the sand dunes
with sweeping views towards Kapiti Island.
The casual style of this home is designed
with small dwellings to feel like camping
with the main pavilion having the kitchen, bedroom
and bathroom, the second
with 3 bedroom and the third dwelling as guests accommodation.

|maybe this could be for me, haaa | Now you get the idea of this beach house, lets have a tour and sneak around.

Bedrooms ~ slumber in style

Don’t make your bedroom the room you have to close the door because you don’t like the style.
Often this is the case, bedrooms should be a place to also fulfill your decorating dreams.
let’s start your inspirations and make over your bedroom.

Bold letters +hanging bedside lamp + stick bedhead = original style

little bit of winter snuggle time with large knitted throws {always my fav}

hang your clothes in style ~colour code them & place your fav shoes on display

yellow stripes are always a fantastic way to dress up your room

adding a few special pieces into your room is all you need.

children styled rooms are so simple and easy to do, even if children have to share
{remember just add boxes to store away toys}

maybe painting to a piece of bedroom furniture is all that is
needed, styling a room is not all about purchasing NEW,
just adding NEW colours for that makeover.

So add lamps, wallpaper, chunky knits, a colour you love or just a
new cushions is what you will need to get a room you will
sleep in style.

Scandinavian style

I have to say that I am a huge fan of Scandinavian style, the interiors are so crisp and full
of texture with the added pieces of vintage scattered through to make a room
feel individual and unique.
I would just loVe to re-vamp my home full of white, grey and black~ would you?
